Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Blackpine Software LLC ("Blackpine," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit stratoscpq.com and related pages (the "Site"). Stratos CPQ is a product built and operated by Blackpine. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
This policy covers the marketing site only
This policy applies to stratoscpq.com, the public marketing site. The Stratos CPQ application, at app.stratoscpq.com, is a separate signed-in service with its own accounts, its own data, and its own privacy policy and cookie choices. If you are a customer or a dealer using the application, that policy governs your use of it, not this one.
Who we are
Blackpine Software LLC is the data controller for personal information collected through this Site. If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at privacy@blackpinesoftware.com.
Information we collect
Information you provide
When you request a demo or use our contact form, we collect the information you submit, which may include your name, email address, company, and the contents of your message. We use this to respond to your inquiry and to follow up about Stratos CPQ.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our analytics provider automatically collect certain technical information through cookies and similar technologies, such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and general usage activity. We use this to understand how the Site is used and to improve it.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google LLC, to measure and analyze Site traffic. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf. You can learn more from Google's Privacy Policy, and you can opt out across sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not function as intended.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile on our contact form to protect against spam and abuse. Turnstile is provided by Cloudflare, Inc. and may process limited technical information to verify that a request is not automated.
Fonts on this Site are served from our own servers rather than a third-party font service, so visiting a page does not disclose your visit to a font provider.
How the contact form is processed
Contact and demo request submissions are handled by a service running on Cloudflare Workers and delivered to us by email. Cloudflare, Inc. acts as our infrastructure and email delivery provider for this purpose. We retain submissions for as long as needed to respond to and manage your inquiry.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide the information or demo you request.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
- To understand usage trends through aggregated analytics.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf (such as our analytics, security, and email delivery providers described above), when required by law or legal process, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, or to request a copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@blackpinesoftware.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.
For California residents
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
For visitors in the EEA and UK
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information under legal bases including your consent (for analytics cookies), our legitimate interests (to operate and secure the Site), and to take steps at your request before entering into a relationship (to respond to your inquiry). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
